When selecting a clinic, we strongly advise patients to focus on the training and expertise of the surgical team, the quality of the materials used, and the long-term support provided. We encourage you to visit our practice and meet our dedicated team—we believe the decision will quickly come down to trust and quality, not just price.

Will the implant treatment be very expensive?

We understand that dental implants represent a significant investment, and it is completely normal to carefully consider the cost of this serious decision. Ultimately, the choice rests with you—the individual patient—to determine if the profound improvements in functionality, quality of life, confidence, and appearance justify the investment.

Will the implant treatment be painful?

Worrying about pain is one of the most common concerns regarding implant surgery. Rest assured, we have sophisticated systems in place to ensure your experience is as comfortable and pain-free as possible.

During the Procedure:

  • Gentle Numbing: The majority of implants are placed using a standard local anesthetic. We minimize the initial sting using very thin needles, warmed anesthetic, and the Wand computerized injection system for a virtually pain-free numbing process.
  • Zero Sharp Pain: Once you are fully numb, you will not feel any sharp or painful sensations. You will only feel some mild pressure, pushing, or vibration during the procedure (like during the drilling stage), but never anything painful. Your dentist will confirm complete numbness before starting the surgery.
  • Advanced Comfort: For complex or multiple-implant cases, we offer sedation. This is not general anesthesia, but it makes patients feel deeply relaxed and comfortable, and they often remember little about the procedure—a significant benefit for nervous patients.

After the Procedure (Recovery):

It’s common to experience only minimal or no pain whatsoever once the anesthetic wears off, requiring only over-the-counter painkillers. During the first few days, your gums may feel slightly sore as they heal, and we recommend sticking to soft foods. For a single dental implant, most patients are perfectly fine to return to work the very next day.

Can I replace all my teeth with implants?

Absolutely. We are highly experienced at this pinnacle of dental implant treatments: restoring an entire arch of teeth efficiently.

You do not need one implant per tooth. We can replace all of your upper or lower teeth using as few as four strategically placed implants (often referred to as All-on-4 or similar techniques).

We offer a variety of customized bridgework solutions for your restoration, which can be either removable by you for easy cleaning or permanently fixed in place for maximum stability and comfort.

Can I get my implant put at the time when the tooth is removed?

Yes, in certain cases. Our skilled surgeons can often place an implant directly into the extraction socket during the same visit. This immediate placement is possible provided there is no infection and the site meets specific assessment criteria. When immediate placement is feasible, we can cover the site with a temporary tooth to ensure you never have a gap while healing occurs.

However, in most situations, achieving the best long-term outcome means waiting for the extraction site to fully heal before the implant is placed.

Never Worry About a Gap:

Rest assured, you will never have to face the embarrassment of a missing tooth. Regardless of the healing timeline, we offer several temporary replacement solutions to ensure your smile remains complete and natural-looking throughout the entire implant process.

How long will the implant last?

With successful integration and consistent, dedicated maintenance, your dental implant is designed to last a lifetime.

What to Expect (and Not to Worry About) :

The Key to Longevity: Exceptional aftercare is essential. We recommend annual reviews with X-rays to monitor the bone levels supporting the implant, which is crucial for long-term health. This is in addition to your standard dental check-ups.

Minor Issues: While the implant itself is highly durable, it is possible for the crown or bridge attached to it to chip (just like a natural tooth). Occasionally, the outer screw securing the restoration may become loose, which can be corrected quickly and easily by our team.
